The scuff tester is one a highly advanced testing instrument that simulates the actual scuffing conditions and hence give a fair idea of the extent up to which the specimen will be able to bear the scuffing without having degradation of its surface, The instrument is equipped with an abrasive paper which is rubbed on the surface of specimen for a specific number of rotations and give the scuff resistance of a given specimen.
