Retain the Look and Feel of the Product Packaging

When it comes to quality of the products, there are many factors that affect the quality. In today’s time, when the customers are so quality savvy that they are ready to pay almost anything to ensure that they get the best quality products, it is also important for the manufacturers of the products that they emphasize on providing the best quality to the customers. Thai is the only way to get the best customer satisfaction and build a brand value. The factors that affect the quality of a product include the type of raw materials used, the manufacturing process, storage, transportation and packaging (Scuff Tester).

The packaging of any product makes the first impression on the customers. The major role of packaging is to protect the product inside from the impacts of external factors such as dust, pollutants, contaminants and other factors so that the products are delivered to the customers in their prime condition. In addition to that, the packaging also serves as the information panel for the products. Manufacturers use the packaging for the branding purposes as well as providing the best look and feel of the products. Most of the customers get the first impression of the quality of the products from their packaging.

It is essential that the packaging is of such a good quality that the impacts and friction they face during transit does not affect the outer surface of eth packaging as it not only ruins the look and feel of eth packaging but can also remove the branding and other important information about the products. To ensure that the packaging used for products has enough resistance to scuffing, it must be tested using a scuff resistance test.

The scuff testing is performed with use of an instrument called scuff resistance tester. The scuff tester is one a highly advanced testing instrument that simulates the actual scuffing conditions and hence give a fair idea of the extent up to which the specimen will be able to bear the scuffing without having degradation of its surface, The instrument is equipped with an abrasive paper which is rubbed on the surface of specimen for a specific number of rotations and give the scuff resistance of a given specimen. With the help of this instrument, the manufacturers of packaging materials such as labelling tapes, plastic films, and packaging boxes can ensure that they are producing materials that are best suited for hard transportation conditions and will always retain their look and feel along with providing the best protection to the product inside.
