Bonded material such as peel-off strips, tapes or adhesive packaging material must ensure that they deliver the best adhesion strength for the product inside. Peel Strength testing evaluates the average load applied to separate bonded materials. The test is the most appropriate way to characterize adhesive bonds. The test is usually performed at specified angles in which most common are 90° and 180°.
Peel strength tester delivers a highly accurate testing procedure in which one can place the sample to be tested on the machine. The ends of bonded material are held by strong gripping clamps and pulled in opposite directions at a set load to recreate the real-life pulling scenario. The user can set a defined speed and pulling force applied on the specimen while testing. By default, the vice type clamp is available with the machine, in case the manufacturer has a specified need; there are various clamp designs that are available. The tester allows over travel and overload safety to ensure a safe working environment for the user as well as the machine. Reputed make a body, powder-coated for long-run performance.
