It is an instrument which comprises of several different light sources that can be used to observe the changes in the appearance of the colour of the products with changes in the light source.  The instrument is given with individual switches for each light source which allows the manufacturers to observe the specimen in different light sources individually or in a combination of two or more light sources. This allows them to study the behaviour of colours of products under different lighting conditions.

The light sources that are used in the instrument include D65, TL84, Ultra Violet black Light, Cool White Fluorescent, and INCAA light sources that help in efficient study of colour so that the products appear same under different ambient conditions. The cabinet is made of high quality wood along with a platform that is inclined at an angle of 45⁰ which allows the viewer to observe the light source in an efficient manner.
