The box is kept over this platform and pressed down from top with the help of another plate. The upper plate is moved down with the help of screw arrangement. This platen is pivoted so that it can tilt to align its lower face with the top of the package if the top and bottom faces of the package are not parallel. The compression tester is available in two models i.e., computerised model and Digital Model.
