The global plastic market is estimated to increase from 2023 to 2030 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.0%.The value of the Indian plastic industry is 3.50 lakh crore and by 2027-28 it will reach 10 lakh crore. So the product performance evaluating factors like reliability, durability and strength ability is very important. To evaluate compression strength compression tester is globally accepted most demanding lab equipment. Pacorr compression tester is one the most popular and demanding product in evaluating the important parameters like compression strength and the quality of the test specimen material.
We need to understand the dynamic changes in the demand for quality assurance at low cost to ensure this we need to understand what are the problems that arise due to lack of compression bearing capacity in the plastic industry .Let's discuss it.
Problems due to lack of compression bearing capacity
1. Product Quality Issues:
If there will be low quality of the plastic deformity then it can easily wear and tear while transportation and handling which can cause major accidents for example what if a weak and low quality jerry cans carries acids. The deformity can be easily checked by Pacorr Compression Tester.
2. Structural Integrity:
To maintain the strong structural integrity of the plastic material we need to understand the basics: how much strength of material is needed to carry a particular load and how long transportation would be? Which is required before designing any plastic based product by performing a compression test.
3. Supply Chain Disruptions:
If you want to avoid production timelines delays and inventory management problems, then compression tests will prove a boon by determining compression strength of the material.
4. Increased Costs:
If the rejection of lots is eliminated and the maintenance cost is reduced which minimizes the production cost automatically by increasing the net profit.
5. Safety Concerns:
Compression tests help in avoiding accident risk and workplace hazards by designing a strong structure of the product b y predetermined its flaws and weaknesses.
If any of the problems mentioned above occurred then the whole lot gets rejected. Just think how much loss occurs? instead of facing so much loss there should be one time investment to highly demanded quality lab testing equipment that is compression tester. The Pacorr team genuinely understands the nerves of the plastic industry. Thus our engineering experts present you a Compression Tester to avoid your loss. So lets understand its working technicality.
How does a Compression Tester work?
Compression tests consist of compression plate and pressure plate in between which plastic product is placed. Pressure plate applies external pressure or load on the product which is indicated in the load indicator fitted to the digital panel. The load can be applied manually or automatically depending, what mode you want to choose for the experiment. The four load sensors vertically apply the pressure. The pressure plate automatically stops as the deformation is detected and reached to its initial auto position. At the end of the experiment we will be aware of the maximum compressive strength of the material and the load bearing capacity of the material at its structural integrity.
Pacorr Compression Tester strictly adheres to the international guidelines of ASTM D642, ASTM D 4169, ISO 2234:2015 and EN ISO 12048.
