A cone crush tester is a device designed to assess the compressive strength and resistance of materials like paperboard and corrugated cardboard. It measures the material's ability to withstand crushing forces.
The cone crush tester consists of a cone-shaped plunger or piston that gradually applies pressure to the material under test. This pressure continues until the material reaches its maximum load-bearing capacity or experiences a specified deformation. Throughout the test, the device accurately records the maximum force required to crush or deform the material, enabling precise measurements and analysis.
