Roll Form Laminates Testing Instruments
Roll-form laminates are a type of laminates available in roll form which can be used for FFS machines used for packing in Cosmetic, Medical, Food Processing, Agro and other industry sectors. These are made available in BOPP material and find extensive use in food packaging applications. The packaging is also suitable to pack different kinds of foods like cookies, candy, dried fruit, and other products. Roll-form laminates are highly transparent, anti-static, has strong adhesive and excellent flatness. Recyclable laminates are films made of layers of polyethene films fused. These laminates can be easily recycled because they are made from only polyethene. Multilayer laminates using various layers of a polymer of increased mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and better barrier properties. Monolayer laminates are packaging films made from biaxially oriented polymers. Generally, BOPP, EVOH or PVC are used. Monolayer laminates are primarily utilized as inner linings of food packaging to increase their shelf life.
