Plastic Silencer Testing Instruments

A plastic silencer is used in pneumatic applications for reducing noise levels with minimal resistance to airflow and protecting equipment from unwanted contaminants. An integral baffle plate inside the silencer body provides a controlled flow condition that circulates air through a maximum number of sound-absorbing granules before exhausting to the atmosphere. The porous plastic silencer is more compact, efficient and lightweight. The silencer is a porous polyethene body molded to a polyethene (PE) adapter. With a double-layer design, significant noise reduction and high airflow can be achieved at the same time. Porous polyethene molded body allows high flow with low noise.  A plastic silencer is combined with screens and filters to trap and remove dust, grit, water, or other impurities in the flow. Equipped with features to separate and remove liquids such as water from the flow of the gas or air. Manufacturers can test the quality of plastic silencers using Plastic Silencer Testing Instruments.
