Gusseted Pouches Testing Instruments

Gusseted pouch bags are used in packaging industries as a good replacement for glass jars, plastic containers and wooden boxes. It can be plastic bottles, plastic jars, or more recently plastic gusseted stand-up pouch bags. The bottom of a bottom gusseted bag is flat. This is true for all four kinds of bottom gusseted bags. The flat surface of the bag allows the pouches to stand erect without any external support. The gussets are designed in such a way that when the pouch is filled with a product, most of the product sinks to the bottom of the pouch - near the gusset. This makes the gusseted bag’s bottom-heavy with a lower center of gravity. Gusseted pouches are a variation on stand up pouches. With gusseted pouches, there are semi-oval shaped indents on both sides of the pouch which make for a square or rectangle base. Gusseted Pouches Testing Instruments are used to test the quality of gusseted pouches.
