Dowel Bar Cap Testing Instruments
Dowel bar is round smooth steel rod that provides a mechanical connection between slab without restricting horizontal joint movement. The bars are used in jointed plain concrete pavement to carry the additional stress and load induced due to moving vehicle. A range of dowel bar debonding caps produced from strong PVC tube with polyethylene foam fixed into one end to act as compression filler. It allows for expansion of dowel bars in construction joints.Dowel Bar Caps are made up of high grade, flexible plastic used in concrete structures to allow the horizontal joint movements. It effectively maintains the purpose of Dowel bars into the Concrete structure by avoiding the crack into the Concrete Structure.
