The plastic glasses frame made of Zyl is pretty lightweight and can be easily adjusted. The nylon-based material is lightweight and easily moulded for any type of size. The frames have lower plasticizer migration and are stiffer having better low-temperature impact properties. But while heating, manufacturers must take special attention when adjusting this plastic frame. Overheating this type of plastic frame may cause shrinkage and even damage. This is because cellulose propionate has lower weathering resistance. To avoid such kind damages, manufacturers must test the quality of plastic frames using Plastic Frame Testing Instruments.
